THEHAUSS, INC. is seeking a reliable and detail-focused Licensed Electrician to partner with us on high-end residential and boutique commercial interior design projects. In this role, you’ll handle lighting installation, outlet placements, smart home systems, and fixture wiring — all while working closely with our designers to ensure every element enhances the function and beauty of the space.
We're looking for an experienced professional who understands how lighting and power layouts can elevate an interior, not just power it.

Key Responsibilities
Install and wire lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, and dimmer systems
Collaborate on lighting layouts, smart home integration, and design intent execution
Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes
Read and follow design plans and reflected ceiling plans (RCPs)
Work respectfully and safely in finished or occupied spaces
Coordinate with other contractors (carpenters, stylists, painters) when needed
Compensation
$50–$85/hour, based on experience and project scope
Flat rates available for fixture installs or lighting packages
Bonuses for fast turnaround or multi-room/commercial projects
Material reimbursements and travel stipends available
Licensing & Requirements
North Carolina Electrical License required (Limited, Intermediate, or Unlimited)
Proof of insurance preferred
Must sign Independent Contractor Agreement
Background check may be required for some residential projects
Workspace
On-site at project locations in and around Raleigh, NC
Must bring your own tools, PPE, and safety equipment
Collaborate via Asana, Zoom, Google Drive, or on-site walkthroughs
Designers may supply fixture specs; electrician must handle code-compliant installs
Must be a Licensed Electrician in the state of North Carolina
3+ years of experience in residential or light commercial electrical work
Ability to read electrical diagrams, RCPs, and technical specs
Knowledge of smart lighting systems, LED specs, and dimming setups
Clean work style and attention to safety
