You'll handle residential and commercial projects from concept to completion — working closely with clients, managing timelines, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring design excellence.
You will work directly with the Founder/CEO and collaborate with our network of experts on turnkey solutions that embody beauty, functionality, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the full design process from consultation to final installation
Create concept boards, space plans, FF&E selections, and material palettes
Develop technical drawings and documentation using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit
Present design proposals to clients with confidence and clarity
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders
Manage timelines, budgets, and change orders
Ensure all designs comply with building codes and regulations
Attend site visits, walkthroughs, and client meetings as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and communication for each project
Compensation
Project-based pay structure with milestone payments
Average earnings: $3,000–$10,000+ per project depending on scope

Licensing & Requirements
Active State of North Carolina license required (or applicable local license for international hires)
Must provide license number and proof of good standing
Business registration and liability insurance preferred
Must sign Independent Contractor Agreement and NDA
Compliance with local building codes, permitting processes, and trade regulations required
Workspace
Independent Contractor (1099)
Valid Interior Design License required (NCIDQ or equivalent)
5+ years of experience in residential and/or commercial interior design
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit
Strong portfolio of built projects and project management experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Understanding of codes, ADA standards, and construction basics
Based in or near Raleigh, NC for site visits and client meetings
