About this Role 

THEHAUSS, INC. is seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Procurement Specialist to manage the sourcing, ordering, tracking, and delivery coordination of all FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) and decor items for our interior design projects.

In this role, you'll act as the bridge between our design team, vendors, and project timelines — ensuring that every selected product arrives on time, in perfect condition, and aligned with our design vision. You’ll help maintain the calm behind the scenes so our clients experience only the beauty and ease of a perfectly executed project.

Key Responsibilities 

Place and track orders for furniture, decor, lighting, textiles, and materials

Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, and shipping partners

Maintain detailed procurement spreadsheets, budgets, and delivery timelines

Update designers and clients on order statuses, delays, or substitutions

Organize and archive purchase orders, invoices, samples, and warranties

Assist with return management, claims, and vendor communication

Support warehouse or on-site delivery scheduling, as needed

Compensation

$25–$40/hour, based on experience and workload

Flat project-based fees available

Bonuses for efficient order handling, cost savings, or multi-project coordination

Option for monthly retainer for ongoing support

Licensing & Requirements 

No license required

Must sign NDA and Independent Contractor Agreement

Must be comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines

Strong internet connection, laptop, and access to Google Workspace required.

Workspace

Fully remote with occasional communication during EST working hours

Collaboration via Google Drive, Asana, Wix folders, and vendor platforms

Access to brand purchasing templates, order trackers, and style guides

Designers will provide detailed spec sheets, vendor lists, and product selections

2+ years experience in procurement, logistics, or design project coordination

Strong familiarity with FF&E and interior design industry vendors

Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, or procurement software (like Ivy, Studio Designer, or Design Files)

Strong communication and vendor negotiation skills

Bonus: Interior design or materials background for deeper product knowledge
