THEHAUSS, INC. is looking for a talented Drafter / CAD Technician to support our design and architecture team by creating precise technical drawings and 3D models. Key Responsibilities
Produce accurate 2D floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, and/or SketchUp
Prepare and update construction documents, permit drawings, and presentation boards
Collaborate with project managers and designers to align drawings with real-world site measurements and design goals
Translate sketches, notes, and concept visuals into technical drafts
Maintain drawing standards and organize files for project teams
Compensation
$25–$45/hour, based on experience and software proficiency
Project-based payments or retainer options available
Bonus opportunities for fast turnaround and complex 3D render work

Licensing & Requirements
No professional license required
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. or have valid freelance/contract status
Must provide own software access (student or commercial license okay)
Must sign NDA and Independent Contractor Agreement
Workspace
Fully remote role, or hybrid in Raleigh, NC (optional)
Must have access to a reliable computer and internet
Required software: AutoCAD, SketchUp; Revit and Adobe Suite a plus
Communication via Zoom, Google Meet, and shared project platforms (Wix, Google Drive, Asana)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and preferably Revit
2+ years of experience drafting in interior design or architecture fields
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
Familiarity with building codes and material applications (a plus)
Design background preferred (degree or strong portfolio)
