THEHAUSS is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and people-centered HR Representative to support our growing design and product-based company.
As our HR Representative, you will handle day-to-day human resources tasks, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and basic payroll administration.
You’ll be working closely with the CEO and team leads to ensure a healthy, positive, and organized work environment that fosters creativity, integrity, and growth.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with recruitment: job postings, screening, and interview scheduling
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
Maintain and update employee records and documentation
Help enforce company policies and procedures with fairness and clarity
Support performance review processes and internal evaluations
Assist with scheduling, HR compliance, and time-off tracking
Address staff questions about benefits, company policies, or work expectations
Work closely with leadership to support company culture and team engagement
Compensation
Salary Range: $45,000–$58,000 per year (based on experience)
Paid vacation, holidays, and flexible scheduling
Bonus and incentive structure available for outstanding performance
Room for advancement to HR Manager or Operations Coordinator
Licensing & Requirements
No formal license required
Must sign Independent Contractor Agreement and Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. or designated country (for global contractor roles)
Reliable internet connection and personal laptop/computer required
Must be able to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all communications
Workspace
Fully remote; must have quiet, dedicated workspace and access to communication tools
Daily collaboration via Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar)
Project management through Asana, Slack, Zoom, and Wix CMS
Access to Canva, Adobe Suite, and social platforms (where applicable)
Digital onboarding and shared team folders provided
2–4 years of experience in Human Resources or Office Administration
Familiarity with HR tools (e.g., Gusto, BambooHR, ADP, or equivalent)
Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar)
Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills
Understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
Previous experience in a design, creative, or small business environment is a plus
Based in Raleigh, NC or willing to commute for hybrid in-person meetings
