You’ll support both residential and commercial projects from concept to completion by researching, selecting, budgeting, and tracking FF&E components that bring our designs to life.

Key Responsibilities 

Source and specify FF&E items (furniture, lighting, accessories, textiles, finishes, etc.) based on project needs

Create and manage FF&E schedules, finish boards, and presentation decks

Obtain quotes, lead times, and samples from vendors and showrooms

Track orders, deliveries, and replacements with clear documentation

Coordinate with designers, procurement agents, and installers

Ensure all items align with design vision, budget, timeline, and code compliance

Assist with installation oversight and final styling, when needed

Compensation

$30–$50/hour, depending on experience and technical skill

Flat-fee options available for specific FF&E packages

Commission on product markup/sourcing may be available

Bonus for completing full home or commercial FF&E packages

Licensing & Requirements 

No license required

Must sign NDA and Independent Contractor Agreement

Must have access to personal tools for sourcing and spec sheet creation

Must maintain organized digital folders and be comfortable with remote collaboration

Workspace

Flexible: work remotely with occasional showroom/site visits (if local)

Workspaces include Google Drive, Canva, Wix folders, and sourcing spreadsheets

Communication via Zoom, Asana, and shared mood boards

Access to trade accounts, sample libraries, and vendor catalogs is a plus

2+ years experience in interior design, furniture sourcing, or FF&E coordination

Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, textiles, and furniture brands

Familiarity with vendor platforms like Design Manager, Ivy, Houzz Pro, or Studio Designer

Ability to read design drawings and translate concepts into selections

Excellent Excel or Google Sheets skills for tracking and documentation

Bonus: experience with product procurement, budgeting, or logistics
